Maerchenhaft is a fairy-tale, fantasy, and magitech panfandom role playing game. Slivers of character's "essence" are summoned into the game world, given a magically formed body, and acknowledged as Fairy Godmothers: unique individuals with magics related to the breaking of Curses, issuing of Blessings, and overall shepherding of magic flow through the world. With an open world and game mechanics encouraging player characters to return to the central nexus of Maerchenhaft, events range from the light and silly to the darker and more twisted, much like folktales and fairy-tales may in our world. All events are opt-in by nature, including the overarching world plot.
